The Crown
I placed this Buddha in my front yard in Manhattan Beach.
Then neighbors started leaving offerings — shells, pebbles, charms, and tiny treasures from walks by the water.
At first, I didn’t know what to do with them.
Then I realized they belonged in the crown.
Now each piece is cleaned, chosen, and added by hand.
This crown is no longer mine alone.
It’s ours.
Bring a shell, pebble, bead, charm, stone, or tiny found treasure and leave it in the offering box outside the Buddha.
Help me finish our crown.
